Schengen Days Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 24, 2026
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Schengen Days is an informational Schengen 90/180 day calculator for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.
Summary
Schengen Days does not collect, sell, rent, or share your trip history. Your travel data is stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, your trip history may sync through your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud infrastructure. The developer does not receive or operate that sync data. The app collects limited anonymous product analytics so we can understand whether onboarding, paywall, purchase, restore, and export flows work reliably. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed with RevenueCat so the app can unlock and restore Pro features.
Data stored by the app
The app lets you enter travel dates, countries, jurisdictions, and optional notes so it can calculate your rolling day balance. This information stays on your device unless you use Apple's iCloud sync for your own devices.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud sync is available, Schengen Days may sync app data through your private iCloud account. Apple handles that service under Apple's privacy policy and iCloud terms. The developer does not have access to your iCloud account or CloudKit private database records.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. Schengen Days uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status, restore purchases, and unlock Pro features. RevenueCat may receive purchase history, product identifiers, entitlement status, and an anonymous app user ID generated by the RevenueCat SDK. RevenueCat may also send subscription lifecycle webhook events to the Schengen Days analytics backend so we can verify purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund, and entitlement reliability. Payment details are handled by Apple, not by Schengen Days or RevenueCat.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Schengen Days schedules local notifications on your device. No remote notification server is used.
Analytics, ads, and tracking
Schengen Days does not use advertising SDKs or tracking technologies. The app sends limited anonymous product analytics to a Supabase-hosted backend operated for Schengen Days. These events can include a random app install identifier, a per-launch session identifier, event name, timestamp, app version, build number, platform, operating system version, device model, locale, region, and limited event properties such as paywall trigger or selected plan. Analytics events do not include trip dates, country notes, travel history details, names, email addresses, advertising identifiers, or precise location. You can turn off anonymous analytics in Settings. RevenueCat is used for subscription management and purchase analytics, not to track you across apps or websites.
Government systems
Schengen Days does not connect to EES, ETIAS, visa, immigration, airline, or border-control systems. All trip entries are added manually by the user. The app is informational only.
